Based in Minnesota, Express Diagnostics International manufactures and distributes drug and alcohol testing kits. Since opening, the company has grown rapidly and needed to find a surveillance and monitoring solution to fit its rapid expansion. Having no previous security system in place, Express Diagnostics wanted to easily monitor employee performance, reduce theft, and ensure that tools and goods were safe and secure.

This case study shows how the exacqVision Enterprise video management system, running on a third-party server and utilizing a combination of IP cameras, provided an ideal solution. The exacqVision software is easy to use and requires minimal training—all six company managers were able to quickly start using the system. Cameras cover all entrances, exits, parking lots, and main working areas to monitor traffic, and their recorded feeds are easy to search and review in the case of an incident. Additionally, the system can be monitored on mobile devices, regardless of the location. Since installation, the exacqVision solution has vastly improved security and operations for Express Diagnostics.
